Ever the entertainer, I have loved to sing and act my whole life. However, my path in and to the entertainment industry has been far from linear and includes stops along the way as an opera major, obtaining a creative writing degree, wrangling horses out west, and getting married.

In 2009, at the prodding of those who know me best and the realization of my own desires, I decided it was time to go all in pursuing this career path. My first professional show was the following June doing summer stock in Illinois. In the almost five years since then, I have worked hard to treat myself and the industry with determination and professionalism. I have had the pleasure of working with all sorts of people on different types of projects and have managed to never go more than a few months without some sort of paycheck from "my field".

But more importantly...

I love this craft. I love what it reveals to me. I love how it can affect other people. I love the gut-wrenching, heart-breaking, gorgeous work of it all. I believe that it is a lifelong pursuit, and that the day I think I have got my head completely around it is the day to quit.

Whether I spend my life piecing together a small body of work, or am fortunate enough to ride giant waves of success, I hope to do it well with a passionate and curious work ethic.
