"[Margaret] has one of the most versatile voices I have ever heard. She can truly sing anything and has an innate ability to adapt to whatever style is needed. Her voice is simply stunning."

"The breadth and depth of Margaret's acting and vocal talents are astonishing! Having shared a stage and many audiences with her, I have seen her morph effortlessly from a slinky seductive Eva Peron, to a goofy psycopathic interpretation of Sweeny Todd's Nellie Lovett, to a wronged and heartbroken wife clinging to love and her own dignity...and many stops in between. Pay attention Broadway! A lovely and powerful supernova is waiting in the wings."

"[Margaret's] willingness to feel the fear and do it anyway make her a delight to watch...She has a great sense of humor & plays with many styles of humor & vulnerability."

Various Roles

I had the very unique opportunity to work on a career retrospective written by, and starring Broadway and Hollywood veteran, Bob Gunton. This wonderful project enabled me to play women from the incomparable Mr. Gunton's stage life--women like Evita and Ms. Lovett, as well as women from his real life experiences, such as a grade school crush, his first love, and his New York agent.

Eliza Doolittle

Eliza Doolittle was a dream role that I was fortunate to play while working toward my second degree in musical theater at Missouri Baptist University. It is a near-perfect role containing beautiful language and music, a transformative character arch, and the opportunity to showcase both comedic and dramatic chops.

Gertrude Mcfuzz

I played Gertrude Mcfuzz in Seussical during my first summer working in professional theater in 2010. It was a role of surprising depth, formative for me as a newer professional, and I had a blast bringing such a colorful character to life.

Various Roles

I began taking Improv classes at the People's Improv Theater in New York as an outlet from the typical pavement- pounding auditioning world. What started as a class to stretch some new muscles and get out of my head ended in helping to form a sketch team that performed all over the city. Our team put out video shorts and sketches in addition to performing improv sets.

I am now a proud member of LOL Nashville, the city's only professional improv company, performing both short- and long-form improv each month to sold-out houses all around the city.

Singer

The flexibility of the human voice astounds me. Whether I am singing soprano for an oratorio, doing background vocals for a session, or belting it out on the stage, I love to discover what I can train my voice to do and I enjoy not having to confine myself to one particular style. I am happy to continue growing and I truly believe that my best work lies ahead of me.

These are two songs from a hymn project I worked on the summer of 2014 with the Green Carpet Players out of Knoxville, TN and produced by Brian T. Murphy out of Brooklyn.

Handel's MEssiah

This song was performed in New York City at Central Presbyterian under the direction of Dr. Seth Ward. (Fast forward to 0:23 for my solo.)

In May, Margaret Appeared in Douchenozzle the Musical!  A witty and irreverant look at the language we use.

Douchnozzle premiered at the Orlando International Fringe Festival, and was written and directed by Kimberly Patterson and David Weinstein.

"...Douchenozzle” is a bubbly and fun musical. It packs a strong feminist message as the two women reclaim the dictionary with the help of their abused intern.

The performance is sharp and witty, full of good one-liners.."
